Introduction to Spring Framework

Introduction to spring framework

Spring is an open source, light weight and modular framework. It is a platform which provides the infrastructure support for an application allowing developers to just focus on their modules.

It gives the option to choose the module that is best for an application. There is no need to include every module that spring offers.

It lets us build an application from “plain old Java Objects” (POJOs). We don’t need to extend or implement spring specific dependency to a class.
